I first heard about Louisa through LinkedIn. I knew she had an excellent reputation for being able to support with technical support, with the added bonus of having recruitment and outplacement experience.

At the time there were two areas I needed support with.

The first was getting my online booking system set up so I could take group bookings for some online career workshops that I was due to run. I didn’t have time to figure this out for myself because the workshops were going to be running at short notice.

As this was the first time I would be running online workshops, I also asked Louisa to be present in the workshops.

I wanted the reassurance of knowing she would be able to help out if any tech issues arose for the workshop attendees.

I chose Louisa over her competition because I was aware of her experience and she’s also a LinkedIn expert. This meant she could support the workshops (CV writing, interview skills and LinkedIn) in other ways and assign her to a breakout room when the participants were doing group or paired work and ask her to help the attendees with their tasks, supporting them where necessary.

Louisa and Matt supported me in different ways. Matt did a fantastic job of setting up the online group bookings and setting up a series of email and text reminders to everyone who booked onto the workshops.

Louisa was a fantastic asset during the career workshops, It was reassuring to have her in the workshops with me, as I knew I didn’t have to worry if anyone was struggling because I could ask Louisa to give them additional support. She was also a big help during group activities.

Using Workflow Virtual allowed me to run the workshops successfully. I would have struggled to get all the tech set up in time without them because I had tight deadlines to work towards.

What really impressed me was when there was a temporary fault with the booking system. Workflow Virtual pursued compensation from the booking system provider on my behalf, securing a three-month credit.
